SCHOOL COUNCIL ELECTION<\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Student Council Election was held at Adyakrantiveer Vasudev Balwant Phadke Vidyalaya English medium, Secondary section New Panvel on 24<\/span>th<\/span> July 2024. The objective of appointing the Student Council is to provide a platform for students to develop their leadership qualities. The Student Council serves as the voice of the student body, facilitating the sharing of ideas, interests, and concerns within the school community.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the preliminary round, students interested in standing for elections were invited to submit their nominations for various positions.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0In the second round, Class teachers selected candidates based on criteria, which included excellence in academics, sports, overall behavior within the school premises, dormitories, and campus. 6 students from grade 8 and 4 students from grade 9 were shortlisted for the position of School Head boy and Head girl.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Campaigning commenced on 23<\/span>rd<\/span> July 2024, where candidates for Head boy and Head girl\u00a0 presented their manifestos in speeches and created attractive posters to persuade students to vote for them.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The final stage of the process involved students from grades 8, 9 and 10 casting their votes. This electoral process provided students with the opportunity to witness and exercise their fundamental right to vote. The polling process was democratic and anonymous, with students exercising their franchise by selecting their preferred candidates through a voting system.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Following the voting process, the eagerly awaited results of Adyakrantiveer Vasudev Balwant Phadke Vidyalaya English medium, Secondary section Student Council Election are:<\/span><\/p>\n
