Adyakrantiveer Vasudeo Balwant Phadke Vidyalaya, New Panvel run by Maharashtra Education Society, Pune celebrated Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav on 15/8/2022 (Monday) between 7.30 a. m to 9.30 a. m. with great pomp and enthusiasm. According to the Government circular our School has celebrated Amrit Mahotsav from 13th August to 15th August 2022 by hoisting the Tricolour flag with pride. On this day the sense of happiness and pride could be clearly seen on the faces of all the people as India is celebrating its 75th Independence Day. All sections of the school including teaching and non-teaching staff attended this celebration.
The last three years’ S.S.C Board First Rankers’ Parents were special invitees along with the chief guest hon. Shri. Vinay Chatti sir. All the guests were standing on the ground for the salutation, pledge and patriotic song. The main aim of this celebration was to inculcate patriotic feelings among the future generation of India. As per our school’s tradition, the first ranker’s parents of the SSC Board examination do the honour of flag hoisting. This year Mst. Parth Patil’s parents got this opportunity. After the flag hoisting, the students, parents and alumni were led to the assembly hall for further programme.
At first, the guests worshipped the portrait of Bharat Mata and Adyakrantiveer Vasudev Balwant Phadke. All the guests were felicitated by the headmistress of the Primary and Secondary Sections of both mediums. A speech of the hon. Manasi Vyshampayan (HM, Marathi Medium, secondary section led the way through her valuable guidance. Further, the programme was followed by publications of ‘Reflections- a monthly bulletin’ and ‘Sanvad- a magazine by hon Shri. Vinay Chatti, Head Journalist, Professor at Garware College, Pune and Life member of M.E.S. Shruti from class 8 as well as Vaidehi from class 4 gave an incredibly inspirational and encouraging speech. The programme was concluded with a dance performance by the students of the Marathi medium. It was a mesmerizing experience for everyone.
