On 18th February 2025, the English Medium Primary Section of A.V.B. Phadke Vidyalaya, New Panvel, celebrated Shivjayanti with great zeal. The event was honored by the esteemed presence of *Mr. & Mrs. Bhupendra Gaikwad*, who were the chief guests. Mr. Bhupendra Gaikwad shared the life and legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in simple, engaging words, making it easy for young students to understand the king’s values of bravery, leadership, and love for his people.
The celebration featured a Shivgarjana performance by the students, capturing the spirit of Shivaji Maharaj’s valor and victories. The vibrant presentation filled the event with energy and pride. A standout moment was when a Grade 1 student performed the Afzalkhan Vadh Powada, narrating the historic battle between Shivaji Maharaj and Afzalkhan. The young performer’s confidence and dramatic delivery brought the story to life, impressing the audience with the king’s bravery.
The event was a wonderful blend of learning and cultural expression, leaving students with a deep sense of pride and inspiration. The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks to the chief guests and everyone involved in making the event memorable.
