  Samajik Bhondla Celebration

M.E.S. A.V.B. Phadke Vidyalaya,  English Medium, organized Samajik Bhondla Celebration on 1st October 2022 (Saturday) from 9.30 am to 11. am in the school assembly hall.  The main theme of this program was social bonding.  The alumni, Parents’ Representatives, and well-wishers were excitedly gathered for this celebration.  Miss. More Vaidehi expressed her views on Women’s Empowerment. The well-wishers also expressed their gratitude towards the school.  An eco-friendly elephant has been placed on a table and worshipped to welcome Hasta Nakshatra which brings good crops. The symbolism is the moving of the Sun into the thirteenth constellation of the zodiac sign called ‘Hasta’. This constellation is generally symbolized as elephant-shaped. A circle was formed by the participants including students, parents, and teachers around the rangoli, and songs were sung accompanied by dance. The celebration began with the prayer song of Ganesha ‘Iloma Pailoma Ganesh Deva,’ The dance steps were slower in the beginning but gradually the tempo increased and the steps became faster. Sometimes the songs were sung on the beats of clapping and the dancing steps were arranged accordingly.

Such festivals play a crucial role in binding our societies together. Through different traditional games, simple meaningful songs, Haldi-kumkum, and food delicacies they help us to unite together and forget the daily stress. The celebrations conclude after offering the Prasad to everyone.
