DEEP POOJAN (Diya Worship Project)

To help young learners understand the cultural and spiritual importance of Deep Amavasya, the Pre-Primary Section celebrated the Diya Poojan Project on 24th July 2025.

The Headmistress then performed a ceremonial worship of all the lit lamps, and the children recited a shloka as part of the ritual.

Supporting teachers shared the story behind the diya and also introduced students to traditional clay lamps used in Indian households.

Through this meaningful activity, everyone—students, teachers, and staff—offered prayers to the divine flame, seeking to light the lamp of knowledge and dispel the darkness of ignorance.
