A traditional *aukshan* added a touch of cultural warmth as students were welcomed with smiles. Primary kids beamed as they received cute cartoon-themed pencils, while upper primary students were delighted with creative bookmarks. The day began with an energetic assembly, followed by lively fun games and expressive drawing activities. Matru-Pitru Poojan on Guru Pournima
On the auspicious occasion of Guru Pournima (10th July 2025), the students of Grade 1 and 2 at A.V.B. Phadke Vidyalaya expressed their love, gratitude, and respect towards their parents through Matru-Pitru Poojan. With folded hands, flowers, and heartfelt smiles, the young children honoured their parents as their first and greatest Gurus, acknowledging their endless care, guidance, and blessings. Deep Amavasya Celebrations – 24th July 2025
A.V.B. Phadke Vidyalaya, New Panvel, celebrated Deep Amavasya with vibrant creativity and festive spirit. Students of Grades 1 to 4 beautifully decorated clay diyas with bright colours, while Grades 5 to 7 showcased their artistry by making diya drawings adorned with pulses.
Adding to the cultural charm, a photo exhibition of the 12 forts recently declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO was arranged, surrounded by the warm glow of the decorated diyas. The event beautifully blended tradition, art, and heritage awareness, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.
A.V.B. Phadke Vidyalaya’s English Medium Primary Section came alive with colors as the Grade 7 students enthusiastically took part in the Umbrella Painting Celebration. With bright smiles and brighter ideas, students transformed plain umbrellas into vibrant masterpieces. This joyful event wasn’t just about art—it was a beautiful attempt to nurture unity, creativity, and a fresh outlook among students. The colourful expressions reflected their imagination, teamwork, and love for learning through fun-filled activities.
The festival of love and protection, Rakshabandhan, was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm in the Primary Section of M.E.S. A.V.B.Phadke Vidyalaya. Adding a special touch to the occasion, our little ones tied colorful rakhis to their beloved van and bus uncles, who ensure their safe journeys to and from school every single day.
With bright smiles and sparkling eyes, the children offered sweets and handmade cards as tokens of affection, while the uncles blessed them wholeheartedly. The celebration beautifully reflected the true essence of Rakshabandhan — a bond of trust, care, and gratitude that goes beyond family ties.
It was indeed a heartwarming sight, where the threads of rakhi became threads of love, safety, and togetherness.

The English Medium Primary Section of AVB Phadke Vidyalaya hosted an exciting Healthy Snacks Making Competition for parents. With great enthusiasm, around 45 parents showcased their culinary talent by preparing a colorful spread of spicy, sweet, and tangy yet healthy snacks.
The event turned into a true feast of creativity, taste, and nutrition — spreading the message that healthy food can also be delicious. The joyful participation of parents made the celebration even more vibrant, setting the perfect festive mood before Ganapati’s arrival.

As every year, Phadke Vidyalaya proudly organizes the “Fort Building Competition” for students of Grades III & IV on 15th and 16th October 2025.

This year’s theme features 12 UNESCO World Heritage Forts of India, giving students a chance to explore their historical, architectural, and cultural significance.

organized an exciting and M.E.S. A.V.B. Phadke Vidyalaya, English medium, Primary Section educational picnic to Raigad Fort on 8th January 2026 for students. A total of 150 students, accompanied by 15 teachers, participated in this enriching excursion.
The journey to the historic capital of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was filled with enthusiasm and curiosity. Students explored the fort’s significant landmarks such as Raj Bhavan, Jagdishwar Temple, and the Samadhi of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, gaining valuable insights into Maratha history and heritage. Teachers guided students with informative explanations, making history come alive.
The picnic not only enhanced historical knowledge but also promoted teamwork, discipline, and appreciation for our rich cultural legacy. The trip concluded safely, leaving students with unforgettable memories and a deep sense of pride in our glorious past.

A meaningful workshop was conducted by Hon. Girija Likhite Madam, Head of the MES Personality Development Centre, for AVB Phadke Vidyalaya, New Panvel – English Medium Primary Section.
Teachers participated in an engaging session on work–life balance, while non-teaching staff, helpers, and the transport team (bus, van & auto drivers) were sensitized about the POCSO Act and child safety.
The sessions were informative, refreshing, and reinforced the importance of staff well-being and a safe school environment.
🌸Flower Rangoli Making Competition – 77th Republic Day🌸
As part of the 77th Republic Day celebrations, A.V.B. Phadke Vidyalaya organised a vibrant Flower Rangoli Making Competition. Around 75 enthusiastic students from Grades 5 to 7 actively participated and showcased their creativity by designing beautiful rangolis using fresh flowers.
The colourful creations reflected patriotism, teamwork, and artistic expression, adding charm and joy to the celebration. The event truly highlighted the talent and enthusiasm of our young artists. 🌼✨
M.E.S. A.V.B. Phadke Vidyalaya proudly celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit on 26th January, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.
The programme included inspiring speeches by students, highlighting India’s remarkable growth, a progressive future, and the vital role of the younger generation in nation-building. Their confident expressions filled the atmosphere with pride and hope.
The celebration was further energised by vibrant dumbbell and pom-pom demonstrations presented by students, which received warm appreciation from the guests and audience.
We were honoured by the gracious presence of Mr. & Mrs. Sarak, parents of a student who secured the highest marks in the SSC Examination 2024–25. Their presence added grace and motivation to the event.
Overall, the celebration was a beautiful blend of patriotism, talent, and inspiration, leaving everyone with a deep sense of pride for our nation.

Students of M.E.S. Adyakrantiveer Vasudev Balwant Phadke Vidyalaya, New Panvel visited the Chaitanya Art Ganpati Workshop at Kalwe, Pen (Raigad), a region famous for its traditional Ganpati idol-making heritage.
The workshop, run by Mr. Navnath Ramchandra Patil, gave students a wonderful opportunity to observe and learn the beautiful process of crafting Ganpati Bappa idols. Around 200–250 students participated in this educational visit and received hands-on guidance about the art and cultural significance of idol making.
The visit was organized under the guidance of the school’s Headmistress, Mrs. Sheetal Salunkhe, who coordinated with the workshop to arrange this special learning experience for the students.
Teachers Shashikant Kupte, Komal Devdhar, Harshada Joshi, Shubhangi Kadam, and Kiran Mhatre were also present during the visit.
This enriching experience helped students understand the traditional craftsmanship, creativity, and cultural importance behind Ganpati idol making.
