Secondary Activities 2025-26
A meaningful Guru-vandan Chhatra-abhinandan program was organized on 10th July 2025 at Krantiveer Vasudev Balwant Phadke Vidyalaya, New Panvel by the Bharat Vikas Parishad. The event celebrated the sacred bond between teachers and students, promoting traditional values, gratitude, and respect toward educators.
The program commenced with the soulful singing of “Vande Mataram”, followed by the worship of Maharshi Vyas, the Adi Guru, symbolizing the origin of the Guru-Shishya tradition in Indian culture. This spiritual beginning set a respectful and value-driven tone for the celebration.
The event’ was elegantly anchored by Vaibhavi Maral Ma’am, who warmly welcomed all dignitaries, staff members, and students.
The chief guests of the event was president Subodh Bhide Sir,along with respected members of Bharat Vikas Parishad: Shubhangi Bhide mam . Sushma Karnik Ma’am,Rekha Sonawane Ma’am, and Saudamini Talwalkar Ma’am.
The Headmistress, Manisha Mahajan Ma’am, extended a formal welcome to all the esteemed guests and appreciated their continuous support toward value-based education.
In his keynote speech, Subodh Bhide Sir highlighted the commendable initiatives undertaken by Bharat Vikas Parishad. He shared insights on the Sanskar Prakalp, a project aimed at instilling moral and cultural values in students. He also emphasized the organization’s efforts in recognizing women achievers and building a value-oriented, progressive society.
Shubhangi Bhide Ma’am lauded the school for organizing such a culturally rich program and conveyed her heartfelt best wishes to all the teachers and students.
A special highlight of the program was a poetic performance by Class 8 students, where they recited a touching poem expressing deep love, respect, and gratitude toward their teachers.
Following this, Saudamini Talwalkar Ma’am led a pledge ceremony under the Plastic Mukt Vasundhara initiative. All attendees took an oath to support environmental protection and sustainable living.
The program then moved to the felicitation ceremony, where students honored their teachers with warm gestures and gifts. As part of this initiative, Bharat Vikas Parishad presented flower bouquets, cloth bags, and pens to all teachers, reinforcing the message of appreciation along with environmental responsibility.
The event concluded on a patriotic note with the singing of the National Anthem, “Jana Gana Mana”, leaving everyone inspired and emotionally enriched.In conclusion, the Guru-vandan Chhatra-abhinandan program was a grand success, strengthening the timeless bond between educators and students while promoting the values of respect, culture, and sustainability.
Felicitation ceremony for the achievers of SSC Exam 2024-25
5th July, Saturday
English & Marathi Medium Secondary section had organized felicitation ceremony of 10 standard students on dt. 5° July 2025 at 9 a.m. in school auditorium hall. Dr. Samidha Gandhi was the chief guest of the programme.
Student choir group of the school presented welcome & vision song. All the students of std 10º attended the programme.
The programme began with the worshiped of portrait of Adykrantiveer VasudevBalwant Phadke by chief guest and other dignitaries present on the dias. The school choir sang welcome song and this was followed by felicitation ceremony of 10ª std students, A Grade achievers of elementry and intermediate drawing exam, etc. SSC rankers in their speeches expressed their deep sense of gratitude towards the dedication shown by the teachers in educating them.
The chief guest, in her speech, advised the students not to waste time or opportunity and instead work towards bringing honor and pride to society. The programme concluded with vote of thanks given by Mrs. Manisha Mahajan headmistress of secondary section
The Ashadhi Ekadashi celebration was held with great devotion, spirituality, and enthusiasm at A.V.B. Phadke Vidyalaya, Naveen Panvel. The entire school premises were beautifully decorated, setting a devotional tone for the event. The program was anchored gracefully by Mrs. Vaibhavi Maral Madam, who welcomed the gathering and guided the sequence of events with warmth and clarity.
The celebration began with a respectful welcome extended to Headmistress Mahajan Madam, our chief guest Mrs. Varsha Sahastrabudhe Madam, esteemed Mrs. Anaya Karandikar Madam, along with the presence of enthusiastic parents, teachers, and students.
The spiritual essence of the occasion was brought alive with a soulful prayer and Aarti, including “Sukhkarta Dukhaharta” and “Vitthal Aarti”, invoking blessings from Lord Vitthal. The devotional atmosphere filled the hearts of all present with peace and positivity.
Adding spiritual depth to the celebration, Mrs. Varsha Sahastrabudhe Madam addressed the gathering and shared inspiring information about Saint Tukaram Maharaj. She emphasized the saint’s unwavering devotion, simple living, and powerful Abhangs that continue to guide generations. She urged students and parents to cherish and preserve our cultural values and to walk on the path of faith, devotion, and service.
Mrs. Anaya Karandikar Madam also shared valuable insights into the importance of Ashadhi Ekadashi, explaining how it teaches us the virtues of patience, discipline, and spiritual cleansing. Her words inspired everyone to reflect on the true meaning of the festival beyond rituals.
The cultural segment of the program included an Abhang Singing Competition, where students of Std. VIII participated with great enthusiasm. Their melodious renditions of devotional songs echoed with energy and devotion. Following this, a dance performance by the girls of Std. VIII, based on the theme “Trees Are Our Friends”, beautifully merged cultural expression with environmental awareness.
As part of the school’s Green Legacy Initiative, a thoughtful segment was presented by Std. IX and X students, guided by the Water Security Teachers. The students shared their observations, surveys, and learnings on plant life and environmental conservation, urging everyone to contribute to a greener planet.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks and an inspiring speech by Headmistress Mahajan Madam, who appreciated the efforts of the students and staff. She encouraged everyone to follow the values taught by saints like Tukaram Maharaj and to lead lives enriched with devotion, humility, and care for nature.
The Ashadhi Ekadashi celebration was a perfect blend of faith, culture, learning, and responsibility, leaving a lasting impression on all.


Grand Celebration of 79th Independence Day & Inauguration of well equipped Computer Lab at MES AVB Phadke Vidyalaya, New Panvel
MES AVB Phadke Vidyalaya celebrated the 79th Independence Day on 15th August 2025 with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. As per the school tradition, the tricolour was hoisted by Mr. Vishwas Paradkar, proud parent of SSC Board topper Ms. Akshata Paradkar, followed by the National Anthem, Rajya Geet, and Dhwaj Geet.
The celebration was graced by eminent personalities including Hon. Girish Samudra, Managing Director of Flow Line Systems Pvt. Ltd.; Dr. Kirti Samudra; Hon. Deodatt Bhishikar, Chairman of the School Committee; Hon. Sudhir Gade; Hon. Dr. Ravikant Zirmite; along with all Section Headmistresses, parents, teachers, non-teaching staff, students, and alumni.
The programme was introduced by Mrs. Samita Soman, Headmistress of the Secondary Section (Marathi Medium), while Mrs. Sheetal Salunkhe, Headmistress of the English Medium Primary Section, introduced the Chief Guest and dignitaries. Student representatives from all sections delivered speeches on the significance of Independence Day. Chief Guest Mr. Vishwas Paradkar and Hon. Sudhir Gade addressed the gathering with inspiring words.
The highlight of the day was the inauguration of the renovated and well equipped Computer Lab. Hon. Shri Girish Samudra unveiled the nameplate, dedicated in memory of his parents. In his address, Hon. Samudra shared his vision for enhancing digital learning. Hon. Dr. Ravikant Zirmite and Hon. Deodatt Bhishikar also motivated with their speech. The well equipped computer lab, made possible through Hon. Samudra’s generous contribution which donated through CSR Fund ₹13,50,000. After that Hon. Deodatt Bhishikar sir inaugurated the newly developed Teachers’ staff room.
The programme was anchored gracefully by Ms. Vaibhavi Maral. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Mrs. Manisha Mahajan, Headmistress of the English Medium Secondary Section, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Samudra, all dignitaries, teachers, staff, students, and parents for making the celebration a grand success.
MES Adyakrantiveer Vasudev Balwant Phadke Vidyalaya, English Medium Secondary Section, has secured Second Rank in the Senior Group of the ‘Bharat Ko Jano Interschool Quiz Competition’ organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad. Mst. Shrirang Gawande from std 9th and Mst. Pratik Patil from std 10th secured this acheievment.
ECO FRIENDLY GARLAND MAKING COMPETITION FOR PARENTS
On occasion of the upcoming Ganesha chaturthi festival , eco-friendly garland making competition was organised on 25th August 2025 , Monday for parents of Secondary Section of English Medium.
In the assembly hall of the school parents gathered to show their Creativity .
The competition was organised under the theme of ‘Green Ganesha,Happy Ganesha’
to foster creativity and environmental awareness with encouragement of cultural participation of parents.
Accordingly parents participated enthusiastically and made beautiful garlands by using biodegradable material without use of any type of plastic or non biodegradable material.
Head mistress Mahajan madam and counsellor Mrs. Varsha Shinde madam judge the creativity of the participants and select the ranker of the competition.

Yashti Training under the Self-Defence Program for the Girls of std 8th
Our school organized a Self-Defence Training Program for girls on every Saturday during the month of July 2025 ( i. e. 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th).
As part of this program, the school conducted Yashti Training in collaboration with Rashtra Seva Samiti, Panvel.
A special demonstration session was arranged, on 26 th July 2025 where the training activities were exhibited in front of all mothers and parents.
Our talented girls confidently showcased their skills, while the encouragement and applause from their parents boosted their confidence and motivation. The parents highly appreciated this initiative and expressed their satisfaction with such a valuable activity.
This program not only enhanced the self-defence abilities of our students but also instilled discipline, courage, and self-confidence.
