GEOGRAPHY DAY CELEBRATION
Rangoli making competition under the theme of visualising Geography through art was organised by English medium secondary section on occasion of Geography day on 13th January 2026, Tuesday during school hours in assembly hall.
Students of 8th and 9th standard were participated enthusiastically to make rangoli based on geographical figures or pictures from the Geography textbook.
Students made Rangolis of earth interior, landforms, India’ s diversity, migration. As well as they showed factors affecting economy by making attractive rangoli. Head mistress Mahajan madam judged rangoli made by students to select the ranker to appreciate them with prizes.
In this way, Geography day was celebrated by the students to make awareness about the importance of Geography subject as well to connect it with our daily life surrounding and activities.
