Fancy dress competition 01-August-2023
The students of M.E.S. A.V.B. Phadke Vidyalaya, New Panvel, English medium Primary section, enjoyed coming dressed as Freedom fighters of India and taking part in the Fancy Dress Competition on the occasion of the 103rd death anniversary of Lokmanya Tilak. They all looked vibrant in their colourful and different costumes and played their parts confidently. The purpose of conducting the competition was not only to blend learning with fun but also to develop confidence in the students by giving them an opportunity to get on the stage and speak in front of an audience. The students were given an opportunity to speak in front of others and bring forth their hidden talents. The little ones were given a golden opportunity to explore their creativity and innovation to the fullest. They walked forward with a lot of enthusiasm and excitement and displayed their vibrant and colourful costumes. The judges were truly mesmerized to see the young ones display such impeccable talent. The competition bought an amiable ambiance and each participant left the stage with prolonged deafening applauses. The objective of the competition was met as the students learned about international figures like Mahatma Gandhi, Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Sarojini Naidu, Rani Laxmibai, and many more. This activity also enhanced their English conversation skills.
The dynamic show concluded with the encouraging words of the headmistress hon. Sheetal Salunkhe who lauded the admirable performances of the tiny tots and thanked the parents and teachers for the success of the event.
