On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, the Pre-Primary section of the school organized a Nutritious Modak Competition for mothers on 23rd August 2025.
The objective of this competition was to provide an opportunity for parents to display their talents while encouraging students to refrain from consuming junk food. Instead, the aim was to familiarize them with traditional festive delicacies prepared in a healthy and nutritious manner.
The competition was adjudicated by experienced judges, Mrs. Madhuri Shirwadkar and Mrs. Madhura Kanitkar.
The participating mothers prepared a variety of delicious modaks using ingredients such as dry fruits, vegetables, jaggery, sesame seeds, and beetroot.
By presenting the traditional modak in a nutritious form, the event not only highlighted the cultural significance of Ganesh Chaturthi but also promoted healthy eating practices. The competition concluded successfully in an atmosphere of joy and festivity.
