*Guru Pournima celebration*
The day which offers chance to express our gratitude and salutations to the guru in our life for their guidance towards the right path was celebrated with the immense gratitude and enthusiasm on 20th July 2024, Saturday in the assembly hall of AVB Phadke Vidyalaya, New Panvel . All the students of the English Medium Secondary Section along with all teachers were present for the program . Many dignitaries of NGO- Bharat Vikas Parishad Panvel branch were the main guests of the program who arranged ‘Guru vandan Chhatra Abhinandan’ to felicitate meritorious students by Bharat Vikas Parishad on occasion of Guru Poornima.
Mrs. Maral Madam introduced the students about the significance of Guru Purnima as the birth anniversary of Sage Veda Vyas. As per Bharat Vikas Parishad norms, the program started with singing the National song ‘Vande Mataram’.
Dr Girish Samudra (Sampark Adhikari Konkan Prant )introduced students about the function of Bharat Vikas Parishad which is working as a non governmental organisation in whole India in different domains like education, health, youth development, etc. He informed the students that Bharat Vikas Parishad wants to develop India healthy(स्वस्थ) capable(समर्थ) and cultural(सुसंस्कृत ) country.
मर. Nitin Kanetkar (Mahasachiv of Konkan Prant) took oath along with all the people present at the program related to resolution of paying respect to all and performing all the duties as responsible citizens of India .
He advised students to always respect all the teachers and parents for their dedication and selflessness.
He recommended to touch parents and teachers feet to get blessings from them as यशस्वी भव! Mr. Swapnesh Vichare ,member of BVP, Panvel advised students to take initiative and collect empty milk bags as a plastic waste to make plastic mukt Vasundhara.
Finally meritorious students offered gifts and flowers to the teachers. similarly, meritorious Students felicitated by Bharat Vikas Parishad for their academic achievements in different fields by certificate and gifts.
in this way ‘Guru Vandan Chhatra Abhinandan’ program appreciated the students for their achievements and inspired remaining students to achieve success in various exams and competitions.
Finally the program ended with the national anthem by all the present members.
