A Haemoglobin check up camp was organised by A.V. B. Phadke Vidyalaya New Panvel in association with Bharat Vikas Parishad, Panvel on 2nd August, 2023, for female students as well as female employees, including teaching and non-teaching staff of the school.
Nearly 1000 females undergone through the HB test.
While Dr. Kirti Samudra madam, chairman of Bharat Vikas Parishad took the full responsibility of conducting the Camp, vital technical support was provided by Samudra clinic, Panvel who organized medical supplies and the test team.
Hemoglobin is a necessary protein that carries the oxygen to the whole body. This camp was aimed at generating awareness among students regarding anemia, a condition in which the body has fewer red blood cells than normal. The females those found with haemoglobin less than normal were given jaggery and Chana free of cost as it is the best natural medical remedy and advised to eat food rich in iron and should have a balanced diet. Mother parents were so happy to mention that this is the uniqueness of Phadke Vidyalaya. They always organise such useful camps and workshops and also gave best wishes on occasion of silver Jubilee year of the school.
